Reiki

          Reiki is a form of energy healing that utilizes the laying on of hands. The Reiki healer, who has had their body’s energy channels opened and cleared, is able to attune to the source of all universal ‘ki’, also called asé, prana, ka or life force energy. The healer can then channel this energy through their hands into the receiver, removing energetic blockages and recalibrating imbalances in the receiver's energy system. This can help with spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical ailments.

          Think about your natural reaction when you hurt your body. Your first instinct is to reach for the area with your hands.​

 

          Think about how your energy shifts when you spend time around someone who is angry, or upset, or happy, or calm.​

Breathwork

A series of techniques using controlled and intentional breathing in order to reduce stress, build energy, calm the mind, lower blood pressure/heart rate, increase focus, improve sleep, and invigorate the spirit.

The Vagal nerves, also called the Vagus nerve, is a collection of cranial nerves that connect the Central Nervous System to the cardiovascular, respiratory, and digestive systems. It controls two other sub-systems in the nervous system, the Parasympathetic Nervous System (PSNS), our passive and peaceful mode, and the Sympathetic Nervous System (SNS), our active and anxious mode.

Breathwork finds harmony and balance between the two systems as they are necessary for a joyful life. These tecniques are vital for building and strengthening asé within, and exploring your resilience as a human being. It connects us to the planet through the atmosphere and hydrosphere, as we sweat and respire. It connects us to all living creatures that existed on Earth.

Sound Healing

Sound healing is a practice of using vibratory frequencies created by vibration-inducing tools to influence the energetic field of the body. It can help to induce an emotional release, embody calm, promote healing, reduce anxiety, find deep rest, connect with the subconscious, bring awareness to triggers and other signs of needed internal work.

 

The human body is 60% water and sound travels five times faster in water than in air. This allows the frequencies to strongly interact with the human body, promoting a connection between mind and spirit as well.
